A mid-size crossover belonging to the premium community – the first generation Cadillac SRX officially debuted in January 2003 at the Detroit International Auto Show, and in early 2004 its serial production started.
The “first” Cadillac SRX is a premium mid-size SUV with a five-door station wagon and a seven-seater saloon.
For the first generation Cadillac SRX, two gasoline atmospheric units with a distributed fuel supply were available. The “younger” version is a V-shaped “six” of 3.6 liters, releasing 255 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 2800 rpm. “Senior” – 4.6-liter V8 engine with a herd of 320 “heads” (at 6400 rpm), the output of which reaches 425 Nm at 4400 rpm.
The “first” Cadillac SRX “flaunts” excellent driving characteristics (dynamics, smoothness and handling), a spacious interior, a large trunk, reliable construction, thoughtful soundproofing and rich equipment. You can blame the SUV for not the most attractive appearance, high cost of original spare parts and high fuel consumption.
