A mid-size crossover belonging to the premium community – the first generation Cadillac SRX officially debuted in January 2003 at the Detroit International Auto Show, and in early 2004 its serial production started.

For the first generation Cadillac SRX, two gasoline atmospheric units with a distributed fuel supply were available. The “younger” version is a V-shaped “six” of 3.6 liters, releasing 255 horsepower at 6500 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 2800 rpm. “Senior” – 4.6-liter V8 engine with a herd of 320 “heads” (at 6400 rpm), the output of which reaches 425 Nm at 4400 rpm.
The “first” Cadillac SRX “flaunts” excellent driving characteristics (dynamics, smoothness and handling), a spacious interior, a large trunk, reliable construction, thoughtful soundproofing and rich equipment. You can blame the SUV for not the most attractive appearance, high cost of original spare parts and high fuel consumption.
