Toyota’s IS-C is perhaps the world’s most famous series of all time, which went on to make many popular models for the Toyota brand. The front-wheel-drive, front engine, two-door compact car replaced the AG-X and SC series in Japan. The new model was introduced by Toyota in the spring of 1988 and it was one of the most popular models ever produced by Toyota.
The IS-C was exported to other countries such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Yugoslavia and Thailand.
