The Skyline sports car was first introduced in 1964 and would eventually go on to reach such incredible heights as producing an all-time-best 310.33 kW (394 PS), for which the model took top honors in the 2008 World Engine Challenge (WEC).
Built to a significant degree from Nissan’s pre-existing V8 engine designs, the Skyline is not exactly short on high-tech powertrains, but none will be more impressive than the GT-R that helped to revitalize the Nissan sports car lineup in the 1990s, and will bring the next round of GT-R life cycles to a close for the foreseeable future.
